Guys
I have what I think is a clenport Pringles tower with a plastic barrel, it kept eating pound coins. When I removed the coin mech the black circular plate on the front of the barrel has come away from the barrel. There was 3 rivets holding it in place and looks like the plate has pulled through the rivets. Can this be repaired or is it possible to fit a new barrel?
Cheers
Rob

Thanks Paul, my next question would be Chinese tower barrels, I have around 15 machines that all need various repairs can the barrels be replaced on these?

Rob,
Yes they can, but I do not know who holds the spares, Robert/Paul at Hurley may have some. May be easier to break up one or two machines and use for spares parts.

Virgo have moved away from tower supplies, now concentrating on party wholesale. That's unless you have ordered from them in last couple months?Rossi fan wrote:Hi,

Rock Vend will be a decent alternative if Brian can't help

The tower barrels are straightforward enough. When you drill out the rivets on the old one, ensure you use a small drill, this losens them and out they pop. Its just a case of re riveting a new barrel in to the same holes.
I would look at each machine base. Select the ones that are in good order and use the others to build new ones.
Do you know how to make your coin mech safer against fake coin and reverse and free vending?
Thanks,
Paul
