Prices for towers and stuff

Post by KASE »

Hi

Can anyone help with the following please? I'm looking to buy some machines and trying to find out average prices for used machines.....

Bouly - seem to be £80 for mini one up to £140 for normal sized ?

Pringles tower - £110 - £150 ?

Sweets tower - £55 - £100 depending on quality

Beaver - seen them for £15 but average is £25 - £40 ?

Superettes - £80 ?

Beaver double head - £80 plus?

Do these seem fair prices or am I way out ?

Thanks

beavers are £30 -40, toyvend equivilent £15 - 20.

Hi
I cant comment on all of these, but second hand Pringles should be no more than 100 with a stand, unless almost new condition. As for sweet towers. Having used both Chinese and genuine Clenporte, I would recommend that you buy the Clenporte every time if possible. The Chinese ones are cheaper, but they mis vend more often and are more prone to scamms (edited by mods).

Thanks,

Paul

Thanks Nigel.

Superettes on ebay all start at £80 - wasnt sure if they shoot up or if this was standard expected price.

You seem very knowledgable Nigel.... can you help re brands please and size of tubs.

Hurleys and tubz vending both fit all the sweet towers? What about Sandral and Salysol? And Pringle towers only take pringle tubs and unless you get empty pringle sized tubs, you cant use the pringles towers for anything else?

Sorry to be a pain. I have read so much and written bad notes and I have confused myself. If I get a sweet tower, it is only for tubz vending and Hurleys sweets? And Pringles only for Pringles? What about Hurleys crisps? Is that for sweet towers? Or are they alternative for Pringles re sizing?

Now I've confused myself !

Yes im confused dot com now!

What I think you are after is what fits where?

Sweet towers-
Clenport will take all clear containers and all tins.
Chinese will take same.

Pringles towers-
Clenport will take both pringles containers and hurleys crisps and maxi tubs and Mega pots EXCEPT for first generation machines (with metal barrels) will work with megapots, Pringles and Hurleys crisps fine but tend to jam the tubz vending maxi tub due to there tapered design.
I use tubz vending maxi tub very successfully but I ensure I only put them in the towers with PLASTIC Barrels!

Chinese Pringles machines - avoid like the plaque!
They are cheap, for sure, but will only give you grief!

Thanks Nigel.

To be honest I havent got a clue what I meant now. Clear as mud.

The bloody sweet and Pringle towers look the same to me in pictures ( unless full up or covered in stickers of course !) - I think when I see them in the flesh it will become clear.
I have never ever seen one. I bet you guys are sick of the sight of them sometimes !

But thanks for the advice. I think I'll have to go machine spotting and see if I can identify crap from Clenport.

Is there a tower machine spotters geek guide I can buy?

Can imagine the kids loving me taking them around saying now this is a Laiv, children, stay away from them. This however over here is a mini bouly. They are good value ........

Might send them to sleep - always a silver lining

Check EBay there are machines (both new and second hand) available there on a regular basis!
