Jelly Beans

Post by callmoo3 »

Hey,

I just purchased a new Beaver machine, does anyone know where I can get cheap jelly beans? Preferably mail order but I have got a local Bookers as well.

I have looked online and all the sites I have found charge very expensive shipping fees which end up being more expensive than Amazon which is priced at about £18 for a 3kg bag.

Thanks

I wouldnt put Jelly Beans in they will stick together and jam. Mini eggs are good, Bookers are about £4.50 per Kg, otherwise anything with a hard shell.

Hancocks are good if there's one local to you.

Would £4.50 per kg be financially viable? The machine holds about 4kg and is at 20p meaning I need 90 people to breakeven. This is my first machine so I am not too sure how long the it would last with mini eggs, would it last more than 90 people?

I have changed all the coin carrier on all my eggs to 50p and set them to maximum, about 7 eggs per vend. Still cheaper than a pot of sweets from a tower and they give a fantastic return. But yes you still make good money at 20p but set the Beaver to give out 4/5 eggs. Coin carriers from ATN or Toy Vend about £6.
