Clenport plastic stands

Post by Quinch »

Does anyone use the Clenport plastic stands much? I would like to know anyone's opinion of them as I intend to get some more stands soon and have only used steel stands in the past.

They are cheaper and appear to be about the same height as most steel stands but with a wider base and a lot lighter, haven't seen them around much so would be interested to know if they are as stable as heavier steel ones.

I just use whatever I get my hands on but tend to save the plastic ones for Pringles, the wider base works better on them.

 I have a few of the plastic ones on Pringle towers, not really that keen on them, as I think they can look a bit tacky!

I'm not a fan, the base is too large for my liking, machines can be lifted off pretty easily also. Maybe it's just me. I happen to have 3 of them I've put to one side today to bin. You're more than welcome to them if you can collect in the next week or so. I'm in the west mids:)

I agree they are large but more secure and I put a screw at top and bottom to hold them all together they are fine
