Not mobile but Jolly Roger at Skegness may offer telephone advice, they did for me and I was able to rectify the fault with their help.

Whats wrong with it?
Steve

when plugged in it all lights up and says power up etc and its accepting money so i assume the coin mech must be working but it doesnt give any credits ie the start button doesnt light up and ride doesnt start if you press it ?

check the light bulb in the start button as its probably broken. May be either the switch faulty or has come off the start button housing or one of the wires. disconnect switch and short wires to see if it starts the ride. Is there volume on it ? is it working, does it say anything when you credit a coin in?

Volume is on and working as it says power up etc when I plug it in. Usually when you put money in it says push the start button and the start button lights up, but now it just takes the money and nothing happens, if you put money in while its unplugged the money comes back out , leading me to think coin mech is working as it takes the money when plugged in but somehow it doesn't seem to be telling the ride to start ?

Go to Maplin Electronics and invest in a box of mixed low amp fuses. Most problems with ride ons are due to one of these small fuses blowing. If that won't sort the problem speak to Steve at Leisurematic on 07894 666425, he'll come out and fix it for a fee.

ride is called an alpha ted, your coin mech is a cashflow 330, thats whats at fault, unplug the ribbon cable from mech and remove mech (note way ribbon cable is inserted with notch on end of ribbon plug at top, as ribbon cable must be inserted right way up when you put mech back on) with mech in your hand, press reject button in and then open mech up like it splits in half, then using damp wet cloth wipe all inside mech, there are sensors in there that recognise coins going in, if mech gets dirty it wont work, put mech back on and try it.
if that doesnt work, with ribbon cable plugged in and ride switched on, turn mech upside down and where coins drop out, put a screwdriver round there or anything metal. let me know if ride credits up.
