Been speaking to a guy about buying 6 sited towers, not sure what to offer though?
He said most of them are quite good earners, are only a few months old, and are in the area I already have my round. They form part of a larger round which he is trying to sell in one go, and has a guy making him an offer in the next couple of days. Not sure whether to make him a generous offer straight away for the ones I want, which might make him think about splitting them off to get a better price.
Or should I wait and see if this guy puts a stupidly low offer in for the lot, then make a sensible offer for the ones I want?
What would you guys offer?
what's a sited tower worth?

Definately make an offer for the sites you want. go and see him in person and ask what would you need to do to make him hive off the ones you want. then you will know what to offer and when you do, conclude there and then. A quick cash deal, there and then, can save you money. If the sites are good and fit in with your round then be prepared to pay a bit over the odds to secure the deal.
All the best,

depends what the turnover is? Without figures its all pie in the sky. I would pay alot of money for a good site that does £100 a month plus

I've paid up to £300 for a proven really good sited tower...exceptional though. Usually £100 - £150 inc stand and stock.

Think your guy has advertised on ebay wanting £8200 for 35 towers, 30 sited and 10 boxes of stock............
Wishful thinking, worth £5400 tops unless he has some really good figures/sites to prove otherwise

Re: what's a sited tower worth?
Once you start to get into quantities of 30+ sites then to me all sites are average sites. I have many sites myself, so I know what business they do. On average why should someone else's sites do better (or worse) than mine or visa versa? Thinking this way you don't need to look at anybody's site figures (which can be fiction anyway) just look at the site list. I've bought quite a few rounds over the last few years and have never seen any sales figures to date. I was interested in that round for sale in Bognor, asked what type of sites they were, got a reply, thought no way will they do any decent business, got to serviced 9-5, goodby.

It is that round for sale on ebay. Just spoke to him and he want's £200 per machine for the one's I want, although he's still waiting to hear back from a guy who wants the whole round. I would consider that sort of price quite reasonable, and i've got my fingers crossed that the other guy is a timewaster!
