running out of space

Post by part-time-operator »

is it just me or is the tower market saturated? i've found loads of my neighbouring operators machines recently (prefer to say neighbours than competitors!) and while out today I found a site which had a perform marketing tower, and a tubz vending franchise h4h tower and an independent tower!

Sounds like massive overkill to me!

There are still sites available though (in my area at leas0 - I guess the longer you operate you are bound to eventually hit saturation point if only operating one type of machine.

You then have the option to go further a field, start supplying a new site (i.e. staff rooms if you don't already) or diversify into other machines or even another business area completely.

For example: I have started selling party bags on Facebook to run along side the vending using some stock that I would use in toy machines and sell filled pots. I also sell small packs for people to self fill their own party bags.

Not massive money makers but it ticks along.

I have considered the idea of buying and selling one off display pieces for bars and clubs (signs sports memorabilia for sports bars/Signed music memorabilia for rock bars and R&B clubs)

I have a few other ideas too which, although not vending per se, still fit in with what I am doing and uses my existing products or customer base.

Food for thought?
