Hi Pete. We buy 95mm standard mix from Toyvend, £46.50 +vat, for 155. Regards Al.PGBrew wrote:Al,
I put 90mm capsules (costs 6 euro cents) and toys through my Machines and vend for £1. 90mm capsules & toys costs upto 30 -35p. But you asked about 100mm capsules (costs 14 euro cents), which are more expensive, put in a higher quality toy and vend for £2. If you don't think your site can take a £2 vend, then as stated above, go for 90mm.

Al,
Thats 36p + carriage? per item. Close to the limit for a £1 vend. Would in my opinion make 100mm capsules at £1 a non starter. I buy in my own toys 10,000 at a time from europe, 90mm capsules from Maquinas. I do have to capsulate them myself but my cost including shipping is below 30p an item. I was at the show recently, there were a few suppliers offering filed capsules exhibiting there. I didn't take their details. I usually try to make more margin on toys than on snacks pringles going upto 40p etc.

mike at midland or christian at atn will often sell you filler stock. Also watch ebay closely. As an example Ive just bought 500 packs of dr who trading cards for £40 delivered and 200 disney branded items for 20 quid. Add in 45mm bouncy balls , and a few other things and youve got a decent mix. Capsule 8p average yoy price 15p , lolly price 6p , 29p in the machine.

Re: Bouly Machine
The legendary Scottish Bob had an interesting approach to vending. Apparently he would empty a 20p capsule and fill with Runts. The contents of the 20p capsule went into a 50p capsule and then those contents into a £1 capsule. Time consuming.....but profitable so long as the items being transferred make the leap in price without being too stingy. good example of a 20p toy that makes this leap is a water gun in a 20p egg shaped capsule. Eggs vend perfectly in the 50p side of a Fantastic 2
