Experiences with nayax??

Post by Lee@BIGBAPS »

I've only got one of their contactless units on a shopper 2, I fitted it a few months ago. Their customer service has been useless, emails are ignored, if I do get a reply they will eventually stop responding and I'm left unanswered.

Anybody got a direct number for someone useful there? This unit takes upto a minute to process a payment.

Hi

Which email address are you using? It should ne uksupport@nayax.com

You can get technical support on 02034554800

Have you checked the signal or RSSI levels on the unit? it could be in a poor signal area so it's not getting a very stable connection.

UK support is what I was using half the time they don't respond and when they do I get passed around or forwarded to someone who then doesn't respond.

I think it's fixed now they changed something at their end.

Strange though that it worked fine for all of September and October and most of November and then two weeks ago it would take upto a minute to authorize, it still took customers money despite nayax saying it won't do that, one guy showed me his phone though and the payment was taken.

Seems ok now though, cheers.

He used his phone where the bank card appears on his screen, I saw him make two failed vends, he showed me the notifications saying money had been taken both times. Nayax say it doesn't work that way but I saw it happen and they can't be told otherwise. Seems ok now anyway.

What do you pay for nayax units do you mind me asking? I have the contactless only disc shaped one I got it from coin solutions and it seemed very expensive.

Hi

Nayax is right. If someone pays by applepay/googlepay etc it will show as being charged as The phone has no way of knowing if the vend fails or not. If the product doesn't come out (and you've got a vend sensor setup) the unit should eventually say "You have not been charged".

PM me if you need any other info :)
