E cigarette vending

Post by Paul@HurleysFoods »

Please take a look at the attached presentation.
If you find it of interest, please give me a call and I will run through the margins you can achieve and how it all works.
We have many areas of the UK still available for both the CDU vending idea as well as full blown e cigarette shop set ups.
We have our own retail unit opening in a few weeks so can really vouch for the profits that can be derived from the shop outlets.
If you have any questions please give us a call.
Full training and full tech support with our e cigarette partners comes as standard.
Its not a complicated business, but is a very profitable one.

Best regards
paul

Hi Paul

I'm glad business is going great and you are tapping into another lucrative market as you put it.

Just wondered why you pulled the plug on your banner and then start emailing every member on here, offering them exclusive selected member deals and putting up posts offering your new services?
Regards Matt

HI Matt.
We advertised with yourself for the year and then decided it wasn't for us.
One reason was that there was going to be another development with the forum. website where we would have a page. Is that still going ahead?
As far as letting the forum members know about the new service we have to offer, I thought that was what the parts of the forum I was using was designed for? To promote new ideas for the good of the members you have.
From your response It would infer that we should pay to be able to advertise on the forum?
Please, correct me if I am wrong.
Hope all is well.
Best regards
Paul

Hi paul,

couple of things , why not answer my email sent 2 months ago asking if you are stoping the advert. Secondly we were waiting for your web guys cookie dough ? To provide web templates for over a year for the other pages you mention and Thirdly I think it's completely taking the **** stopping your advertising then starting a new marketing promotion and specifically targeting forum members mass emailing them and trying to sell on your goods on the forum .

Yes I'm up for anyone putting up certain offers for members ie 10% off for all forum members .but those aren't member offers, Far from it , they are just free adverts for you for your new business venture which i guess you are charging people for.

If the forum banner didn't work for you then why would you want to carry on targeting members with new offers?
Regards Matt

Hi there,

I can understand Hurleys saying 'don't want pay to support the forum anymore'. People now know us and will come to us anyway. That's fair enough.

But what I don't understand is withdrawing support for the forum, then using your personal membership to promote/advertise your new 'company venture'.

My question to you Paul is: How much would it cost to reach such a captive audience of the 400 or so, all vending machine operators who you wish to target with your new venture? I would suggest that a fair proportion of the saving should be put into the forum management.

This would be a win/win for Hurleys and the Forum. I as a Hurleys customer would feel happiere with this outcome.

What do you think, members?

Pete, Thanks for your support. It is appreciated.

To give some idea on costings, we have just got a new telesales company working with us who charge £85 per qualified lead.

That's not a sale, just someone who is interested in having vending machines.

Hurleys used to pay £12 a week, to include the banner and we had offered them 2 web pages to go with it, but they never got the info across to us.

Thats interesting Matt,

There are other suppliers that many of us use

Toy Vend
All Things Nice Vending
Maxi Grabb
Midland Vending
tubz vending
Salysol
Clenport
Barbara's site finding service
Rockvend
as well as Hurleys and probably others.

All of these companies have probably gained business from this forum, most of them probably read it, maybe they could pay to have a link or advert or even a section on here to promote their wares. It could benefit them and all of us forum users.

Will always listen to offers  I just don't have time to try and sell the advertising, would be good to find a company that sells it for you.
