I was told they would match the price quoted by sweetfix and beat the mini eggs by a pound a box however already done a deal in good faith.

some people lead and some people follow . We got a customer today who as recently as last week had paid £31 a box for jelly mix and nearly fell off their chair when I told them we had some at £22.50. LOL

In my experience, the prices you are offered always reflect what the competition are doing!
They call it "price matching" but it should be called something like "price is right" as it feels like a bloody gameshow trying to get them to agree a price and stick to it!
