Hi from Isle of Anglesey

Post by Anglesey »

Good evening,
Like many "newbees" on here I started looking into tubz vending franchising for a way of making extra income for my wife (we have two young children) and I got direct to this site.
Having read a few posts and it would appear that going independent and starting off small time with 10 units would be a way to go?
We live in Holyhead, North Wales and I wasn't sure if there would be enough of a demand to even consider this type of business.
Any advice would be welcome, please go easy :D many thanks.

Hi Mike,

welcome to the forum, I gave up towers many years ago so not much help regarding current tower vending market lol

However I'm sure a couple of wise tower operators will pop up soon enough, North wales is Hurleys territory isn't it? Don't know what competion is like over there, as that's your biggest problem, have you seen many towers around your area?

If no, then that's a good start!!
Regards Matt

Would think that's a good area to cover especially summertime, I operate around Merseyside and not so long back got a phone call from somebody in Holyhead asking for a tower, it was to far for me to travel and neither tubz vending or Hurley s had anyone who could cover it, so might be some potential there..... best to check your local area and don't be afraid to site find yourself that's the key to this business!

Not necessarily. A lot of people come into this business and bail out when they realise the fortunes offered by the franchise sellers arent there.

Not sweet machines and not sited but you could make some decent money out of these in good sites and they are in North Wales.

Hello Mike

Welcome to the Coin Op Forum.

I am not aware of any operators in the area of Holyhead post code. What you will need to research is the potential out there. The only thing I would think could be a negative is the ability to cluster your sites if the businesses are few and far between. Having operated in densely populated areas as well as small villages away from major towns, the sites that are in the 'outback' tend to have a lower footfall for the same type of sites, so just keep that in mind.

As others have said, start off small, test the market and make sure you are happy with the operational side of the business as well as the return on your investment.

Kind regards,

Barbara
