Hi Ben,
I cover a fair bit of the cornwall and plymouth area. Have roughly 100 sites in plymouth.

Who you starting up with or are you starting independent?

Best Regards
Jonny

Hi Ben,
Yes there are 2/3 other operators in plymouth. We had a site finder hit plymouth for about 4 weeks and the results where good. We recently bought a snack distribution in plymouth and finding this a very good way to get sites.

I would say if you live in devon then target south hams. Gold mine yet to be explored IMO. I have nothing there except a few snack customers and there pubs are making serious money with massive footfall.

Good to hear people starting up on there own without going with any of the normal crowd.

Best Regards
Jonny

Thats good news.hopefully more sites availble too,
I do live in cornwal, but a few pubs have venders in already here..

are there site finders in plymouth i could speak too?
i will try to find my own first tho i think, i have a lot of time on my hands at the mo so looking foward to learning all the ins and outs..
Also do you sell stock, or order it in?

have you had any problems with other operators poaching your sites, cuz i was speaking to 1 of the big vendors and they say they can get you a site and guarantee it stays there, i just wounder how the do it because dont want to pay them then i get kicked from the site....

Sorry for all the questions.....
Thanks
Ben

Nobody can guarantee any vending machine will stay in any site, I believe they may mean another of their own operators wont poach the site from you.

Only way to get some sort of guarantee is to get the site to sign an exclusivity agreement with you, however this is still not cast in stone.

i think its best all round to work with the people who do the same area as you to avoid poaching issues. We had an issue with one guy in our area but as we make our own stock we could have if we wished retaliated by offering the site a huge commission , however we had a chat and sorted it out amicably and their have been no poaching issues either way since.

Give me call sometime worked with jonny on site finding can do it if you're not in hurry. Off for 3 week break from Oct 2nd - I think maybe Jan 2012 may be good as will be rolling out pub snacks side of round on my return. £25 a site plus little extra for fuel - minimum of 20 sites - love it if u offer other machines can advise u on best toy machines ....

Glenn Jonny and I work closely together so can avoid poaching issues.
