Underhand Tactics
THIS IS SERIOUS!!!!!!!
was sent this by a Snack-A-Can franchisee who wishes to remain anonymous.
tubz vending, have their guys going round trying to remove my machines and replace with their and in one instance has totally rebranded one of my machines to tubz vending and filled it with their stock. Now tubz vending claims its an accident as he has recently purchased the sites and was not aware of my machines, would of thought he would have had an inventory; Is this a tactic on tubz vending behalf by forcing the competition to ring them and then trying to convert them?
Whether you are a tubz vending or a Snack-A-Can Franchisee is irrelevant this is not on!! and probably illegal, but it's the level some people will stoop to so be warned!!!

Re: Underhand Tactics
i would say that if has only had one machine filled and rebranded then it is a mistake.

Re: Underhand Tactics
Yes, i'm not too sure you can blame tubz vending, as surely it's the operators mistake.

Re: Underhand Tactics

Re: Underhand Tactics
It may have been someone I sold sites to as I have sold a few rounds lately.I can only think of 2 sites that had snack a can aswell as tubz vending in but i think these were sinclair collis machines.I`m sure it would be just a genuine error by the new operator. If anyone wants to PM me the site I can let you know if it was one of mine and can put you in touch with the new operator.

Re: Underhand Tactics
Hello Chaps,
Just to stop the confusion. It was one of our engineers that wrongly changed over the tower.
We recently took over an ex Snack A Can vending round in the south. The operator had been changing over his towers to tubz vending but had not got round to all of his sites as he was still running down the old stock.
When we took over some sites obviously still had the Snack A Can stock still in so our engineers would empty it out re brand the tower and re fill the stock and inform the site of the change of setup. So naturally when our engineers were going round to all the sites on the round list it was assumed that the towers in the sites were part of the round. It appears in a couple of the sites that more than one Snack A Can operator had been sold into the site (something i thought they did not do)! So our engineers wrongly assumed that they were part of the same round.
The operator has since been in contact with us and we together managed to get to the bottom of the mix-up and our engineers have been back to the sites in question, removed all the tubz vending stock, replaced with Snack A Can and left any monies taken as compensation for the mix-up. We also removed our other tower on the site as the type of sites really didn’t warrant 1 tower let alone 2.
I have spoken to Simon and we are on good terms with the operator and sure that the situation was resolved as amicably and efficiently as possible.

Re: Underhand Tactics
there was only 1 Snack A Can tower in this site not 2 as implied above.
sounds very suspect....
