Even if you managed to get a price match, they would tag on extra fees somewhere else or make your life very difficult!
People who dont "conform" to their idealogy dont last long with them.
Its not worth the hassle, just de label and become independant!
look at the people you are dealing with, they are ruthless business people and have not made there money by being competative or fair!
They dont pander too there operators because they DONT have too.
All this price match nonsense is a face saving propaganda, nothing more!

Most of their product is the same, but there are some exceptions. I don't know who Sweetfix/Hurleys are using for their suppliers, but the Snack A Can Mini-Eggs are far better tasting (less crumbly chocolate) to tubz vending ones IMHO. Also their Cola bottles are different in taste/texture from memory. Not sure they sell differently though.

I would imagine that where they have a different supplier they will argue theirs is a superior product and therefore won't price match.

there are differences in the fizzies and the eggs. On the eggs you can have various suppliers, tuck shop at bookers, barratts, cadburys direct. We met a couple of the manufacturers at the cologne food fair and it was interesting comparing the mini eggs. On the fizzies barrats are slightly smaller, the spanish ones slightly bigger. Uk tastes are different on fizzies. I think its a contributory factor that yum yumz never took hold.
