Mcdonalds Happy Meal toys

Post by Vend And Glow »

Hello everyone

I was just wondering if you could get a deal with Mcdonalds where they would be willing to let you sell there toys in capsules through vending machines?

Maybe when they have a load left over or something and you can sell them at the play centres?

Only a thought and that stuff is usually branded too.

What are your thoughts?

Cheers

Yea i thought so too! lol

I thought if we could make contact with them and we could do it as a forum thing maybe?

I could tell them i have access to thousands of machines through us lot?

The other thing i was thinking of is kids magazines. They have loads of free toys with them.

Most of the shops get them on sale or return so when they send them back to the magazine company what happens to them? do they just bin the toys and magazines? i think they may sell them cheap to us!

Lee,

I think it's a great idea also. As those on the forum who have kids know, kids love to collect the McDonalds toys, but sometimes are missing a couple of set or the shop runs out.

So say in a tomy or discapa, where they would be able to see what they are getting i think it would work a treat.

Thanks Chris

All depends on weather or not Mcdonalds would want to do something like this though.

I can only imagine they have lots of toys left over when they do promotions and things.

I worked as a regional manager for Burgerking for several years. Those toys are sold to the big fast food chains on a sale or return basis. Any unopened boxes are usually returned to the manufacturer. Also they buy the distribution licence for the particular theme eg Shrek and sometimes sub sell licences to smaller companies to get rid of the excess toys.

Tried it years ago, all these corporates are pretty much impossible to get into & detest vending & amusements, you'd have more chance of getting the queen to flash her **** than to get a machine in there!

We would also need to form a legal corporate body. Otherwise who would sign a contract on our behalf?
