How many sales is too much?

If a tower has the potential of 81 sales per month at what point are we losing out.

In other words were is the 'sweet' spot for achieving maximum sales.

If the tower is left to run out surely we are losing sales because of out of stock.

I'm not convinced customers will always just move on to the next pot if their first choice is sold out.

I'm guess around 40-50 sales per month.

if the tower is doing 80-100 a month, go every fortnight to get £40-£50 and then you aren't losing anything... I've got a lot of sites on fortnightly runs. You need to build your round large enough that it's worth it, otherwise if you leave to do all sites in the area at once then yes you will be losing sales.

I suppose if a site was regularly selling out, and "doubling up" popular lines did not resolve this, ultimately a second machine could be installed to double capacity, if the site were willing?

I dont have any sites like that, but that may be a more cost effective option if the site was not local?

When I have some sites like that, I'll let you know what I do :)

I have sites locally that I visit weekly. I have a site about 30 miles away that does about £200 pm, I only visit once a month and I have left them with 2 sweet machines and a key for the lid of the Pringles with a supply of Pringles.

I would say if you have a tower that is always empty your service to that site is poor so you need to do something. Also if its empty of sweets every month then they really need a Pringles tower and possibly a toy machine.

Install a M108 sweet tower, holds 108 pots very good for calls far away.

with trusted sites, the extra box of stock and a lid key is an absolute winner. This can turn a weekly visit to a fortnight and a fortnightly visit to a monthly etc always good to cut down on your running around, very handy for small pubs etc who won't take another machine

Think they are about £200 andy, but very reliable. Sometimes landlords are fussy and do not like 2 machines. Its another alternative for sites far away as I am not keen on leaving keys for lids for the machines in case they get in the wrong hands. If they have a toy machine as well then its nice to pick up a couple of hundred quid every month from just a few machines.
