sweet tower problem

Post by KASE »

hi

Got a prob with sweet tower. Its a clenport. The metal trap door mechanism is open when it should be closed so the first pot drops straight through ready to vend. Do i take the mech out and reassemble the other way up and if so how do i get the coin slot off?

Hope that makes sense

Thanks in advance

thanks chris

Never had to attack a machine yet. How easy is it to get the mech off? Do i have to take whole tower apart?

Remove cash box cover - take tray out. Put hand in machine towards right hand side
Feel for catch, pull down. This should partly release coin mech, then go to front of machine wriggle the coin mech using force, job done. When u replace put right hand side coin mech in first, support barrel with right hand and give left side of coin mech a firm whack with palm of left hand. Then remember to do coin mech latch on inside of machine.

Hi,

They a tough buggers to get in, compared to the chinese ones. The barrel is difficult to hold and as Gavin states, you have to give it a good shove to get the pin central.

There is a sliding pin at the back of the barrel. Not sure what its for, but that could be your sound.

I dont know if other Clenporte users have found this, but mine seem to partly jam when the mech turns half way around on some vends and if you release the handle, the barrel frees up and hey presto.

Thanks,

Paul

the loud click is probably the nipple circle on the bottom of the inside of the tower. Probably there is a bit of broken plastic in there. Take of nut, take off sections, check nipple plate, remove any debris, rebuild.

Twas the nipple circle ! Many thanks to all who helped. I took it apart and put it together again and it still works ! I might have a go at that wallpapering I've been putting off for 2 years :Jig:
