Minstrels

Post by Rossi fan »

I have just received this e-mail from Paul at Hurleys regarding the minstrels issues.

Thanks,

Paul

Hi Paul. I have had 2 more calls today, the problem is really, really big. One of our customers bought soem loose product at Hancocks and had the same issue. Its a supplier issue and is nationwide.

Will update you as soon as we have an answer. They are all genuine Galaxy Minstrels and youre right, they taste fine but degrade over time. They leave here fine, but when opened look awful.

Please feel free to add this email onto the forum.

Best regards, Paul.

Has anyone had any minstrels in their pots go white or off colour recently? They have been happening to both hurleys and tubz vending. I do know with the warmer you can expect the odd pot to discolour but have had a lot recently and the weather has been cooler.
Its nothing to do with storage as my storage unit is cold, so wondering if it has any relation to the post on this topic!!
Regards
Lee.

Spoke to hancocks yesterday on the phone about availibillity of minstrals. they told me they have none for sale as they are in quarentine!! Strange i think they have opened one bag and are waiting to see if they go off colour. Toyvend sent a pallet load of minstals back last week due to the colour issues

They taste fine, even when faded, but customers are skeptical and I am getting quite a few returns. Hurleys have said that they will refund/ replace them for me. I have found that it is not light, or hot weather that is doing it, as I have some faded ones in a row of otherwise healthy ones, from different boxes etc. I have a couple of towers in very light places and they are all fine. It must be a bad batch.

yep manufacturer issue. TO be honest I dont find they massively outsell other lines. Id stick in an extra moams column until they sort their act out.

minstrels issue is now resolved according to a hancocks manager i spoke to a couple of days ago.

apparently they've been given credit from the manufacturer and I know that they've given one of their biggest vending customers a replacement pallet of minstrels so i would press for a refund/replacement if you havent already

[chocolate pebbles are much cheaper though! ]
