Anyone got an IPhone?

I've wanted an IPhone for ages now and was waiting for the new IPHone 3GS to be released.
They are still a bit pricey so I just want to know if they are worth it?
Are they as good as everyone makes out?

I bought one 5 months ago on PAYG. Was £340, but I got £110 for my previous N95 via Mazumamobile and sold my old ipod on ebay for £40. So £190 for the Iphone (similar price to ipod touch!)

This is the best gadget I have ever owned. Apps are brilliant, games good and often only 59p!

You get an ipod, internet,games console, email, sat nav etc. In a word genius.

Get one, you wont regret it.

Whats the email like on it? Do you know if you can set it up with custom email like from your isp. Like virgin.net etc..

I set it up with my email I use for eBay. Its a talktalk.net one. You can set any email address up for it as far as I am aware. I have probably made extra sales on ebay as I can answer queries straight away rather than waiting till I get home. I also have my own talktalk.net one on it and you can switch from one email to the other. When I'm in the house sometimes emails come through quicker on the phone than the PC!

I also email one my mates instead of sending texts as he now has an Iphone after seeing mine all for free!

That Mazumamobile looks good. They still offer £100 for my N95
My wifes got a spare N95 too (as soon as I get her screen fixed on her 5800).

That could be £200 towards a PAYG IPhone
Will work out cheaper than getting one on contract. I'll keep my simplicity in it.

When you say you switch from one email to another, is that when sending. Does it receive emails on all accounts you've setup (I've got 4 accounts!).

An finally, do you know if you can put .mp3 files directly on it or only .aac?

You can quickly turn on or off each account to receive/send emails. I usually just have my ebay one on, but I have now checked and with the new 3.0 OS the iphone lets you select email accounts on the email page. Great improvement on OS 2.0

I download tracks from Amazon (mp3)and they appear in Itunes, so I think as long as Itunes sees the tracks then you can stick on your Iphone.

Get one, you wont regret it!
