New Markets

Post by nivending »

I have another business to vending which gets me into quite a few offices large and small.

Most of the large offices have drinks and snacks vending the smaller ones do not.

So I'm thinking they arnt interested in a sweets tower but what about a Pringles machine?
But not just Pringles in the tower maybe chocolate bars, biscuits, some sweets, mints etc being an adult market.

Has this been tried? Any thoughts?

I'm new to vending so if it's a goer can a standard Pringles tower be extended up to hold more tubs?
And what about the laws on self packing tubs?

Thanks

Ive got quite a few Pringles in offices. I normally add them where Ive got a good sweet tower. Why wouldnt they have a sweet tower, yet they would have a Pringles tower? Seems odd and if it cant sustain a sweet tower I wouldnt bother with Pringles.

I wouldnt bother self filling pots, there are too big. Just make sure you have a good supply of Pringles.

I always put them in with no commission.

Its a no brainer really, if it doesnt work take it out and resite.

Self packing doesn't matter if your repackaging packaged products, so mars bars etc wouldn't matter

For me Matt, its about the cost, by the time you have bought the pot and then the product theres not enough margin especially when you think a standard Pringles tower only holds 42. Unless you want to run it completely dry you are going to be collecting £30 and earning £8-£10 per visit. Not worth it. Put a sweet tower next to it and just run pringles to keep the cost down, bigger margin and you will collect £50ish per visit earning £20 which for 30 mins work is starting to look much better.

Agree totally, maximum profit per sale in vending is winner, especially with associated costs.
