Re: Sited towers
£33 per month is hardly exceptional! I'd be very dissappointed to average less than that but then that's probably why most people never make a living out of this. Problem with all this "how much is sited machine worth" sorting of guessing is that most rounds that get sold don't even come c...

Re: going rate for second hand machines
i can confirm there's a wide range of offers through your inbox if you have an eBay advert up! I've sold hundreds at £65-£100 cash and had all sorts of offers so I have no doubt people try it on and buy them for less. I get a message every other day asking for a single machine but I usually can't be...

Re: How many sales is too much?
with trusted sites, the extra box of stock and a lid key is an absolute winner. This can turn a weekly visit to a fortnight and a fortnightly visit to a monthly etc always good to cut down on your running around, very handy for small pubs etc who won't take another machine

Re: How many sales is too much?
if the tower is doing 80-100 a month, go every fortnight to get £40-£50 and then you aren't losing anything... I've got a lot of sites on fortnightly runs. You need to build your round large enough that it's worth it, otherwise if you leave to do all sites in the area at once then yes you will be lo...

Re: Metal Stands Wanted
hi Mark, yes will probably have quite a few if you can wait a fortnight as just doing some deals to clear some more of the machines and will then be able to see more clearly and do a proper inventory.

Re: New pound coin
is good news, a lot of smaller operators will decide it's not worth the hassle. 18 months time probably a good time to buy rounds.

Re: Condom Machines - are they worth siting?
some people still do them, but would concentrate on towers for best return on investment and easy to site. Can always add in something like that later on once you're in the site if you think it's worth the extra investment. given your experience Mark i'd recommend just getting as many sites as you c...
