personally i find it easier grinding original plates, no worries then bout handle coming off on site when you`ve messed with sur clip. the first lever that pound coin passes through 9 times out of 10 has to be rounded off on the end or you will find it wont accept the old pound coin as lever catche...

Why would we need to change the plates again though? I spoke to my bank and they said they are happy for me to bank the old pound coins for a good few months after the October deadline so I don't see the point in changing them all over again unless I'm missing something here?
