Pretty good thanks, good to see you back mate. Didn't you work for Morrisons for a bit during lockdown, you back to full time vending now?

Re: School vending machine
Local authorities around here are very strict about what can be sold in vending machines in schools as they don't want to be seen to be encouraging obesity, of course the kids all just go to the local shop and Greggs instead. You could try putting sugar free and healthier options in but then no one ...

Re: Whats the future for sweet vending?
Saw 2 Nayax units on the front of 2 old Necta vending machines yesterday, they were literally stuck on the front with double sided sticky tape lol. Assume it was just a temporary thing until they were fitted properly but considering one quote I had was £500 (2.9%, £10 p/m) just to fit the unit I was...

Re: Whats the future for sweet vending?
I think logically card readers should be the way to go as they can be set at any price so a price bump to £1.20/£1.40 would be more palatable to the customers. Unfortunately I haven't seen any yet that can be retrofitted to old style towers so it involves buying new expensive machines which is obvio...

Pringles
Has anyone got a reliable source for reasonably priced Pringles? I can get them but it's dribs and drabs, some flavours available, some not. A couple of the wholesalers have stopped doing the non-price marked ones around here. Looking for a couple of hundred trays, maybe a pallet.

M84 problem
I bought a couple of old second hand Clenport M84s knowing that there was a jamming issue with them that I would need to sort out. The problem is that as you turn the drum to the position where the pot drops the steel bolt at the back doesn't always drop down enabling the drum to keep turning. In a ...

Re: Painted tubz vending vending vending Vending Tower
You could no doubt do it with spray paint but you wouldn't get the even finish they have when manufactured. Also you would have to tape all round the segments, chute, coin mech etc to prevent getting paint on them. If they're buying the machine off you and are prepared to pay extra for your time to ...

Re: What do you use to carry sweets sweets and cloths onsite when restocking a tower?
I had racking fitted by a company in Milton Keynes that do wooden racking but I had it adjusted so I have a long unit in my Vivaro, as you open the side door and look in the shelving has 12 sweet boxes open and accessible so I can reach in and get what I want, I have another unit bolted to this tha...

Re: converting towers to accept toys
The sleeves tubz vending sell are for their Squishland products as they are the smaller 50mm egg shape but other suppliers also sell the smaller egg so it works for them too. It slides down the grooves on the inside of the segment and prevents the eggs jamming, works fine. You only need it for the s...
