Re: Had any reverse vends recently?
Hi, Yes, every now and then we seem to have a batch of clenports with mech failure, so we aim to always have a couple of machines with new mechs and replace tower with machine change. Expensive? Last year was expensive with several hundred coin mech changes, so not in the market to replace all clenp...

Re: Toblerone
Mine have been three to a tub for at least 6 months.
Seems that Toblerones are not going to be viable, the three in a tub does sell to the die hards but like I said I order 1 box whereas I used to order 8 at a time.

Re: Had any reverse vends recently?
I think you are going to have to replace mechs with the new style mechs, that is what I do for this problem involving sites used by kids that free vend.
Incidentally, on these sites do you have large electrical venders from other companies?

Re: Toblerone
I am a big operator, along with Style, PGBrew, there is another big operator in Scotland that I know of, a couple in London etc. Perhaps if we have a combined machine base of 5000+, perhaps we can do a deal for the products we seek?

Re: Toblerone
LOL! They surely cannot get any smaller! 25% Price rise! Got to be joking! I used to order Toblerones 8 boxes at a time with my 99/60 box orders. When they reduced to 3 per tub, I simply refused to get as much. Now I only order 1 box per order for my die hard customers! Me thinks I will probably aba...

Re: Had any reverse vends recently?
Interesting! I had several per year, results in free vends ! As Style has suggested, have had about a dozen since the new pound coin. Most of them are kids sites. Solution, in sites that have this problem I change mech to a completely new mech ie ditch the clenports mechs in those sites. This seems ...

Re: Start Up Costs
Dear all prospective newbies, I have very recently purchased a batch of machines form an operator who was really struggling in this business. I paid a very fair price (probably well above market conditions) however, machines practically brand new! My observations are: 1. Operator was visiting sites ...

Re: Pringles offer
The original op asked for suggestions and suggestions is what he has got! Nothing wrong with tubz vending, been dealing with them for years. If the amount that has to be ordered is to large operators can always split orders with other ops! Then they will get a decent return on stock. What I refuse t...
