Re: Punch Taverns
Apparently its hard to get a commercial premises turned into residential during recession as councils are unlikely to approve as it is closing down a business and reducing employment pospects. They currently generally require proof that the business has been unprofitable or has been unable to be le...

Re: Punch Taverns
If their selling them off then that can only be good as a landlord that owns the pub is more likely to invest more in the pub than the chain and you have more of a chance of getting a machine in there. Landlords have no money. This is just a sale of a portfolio of pubs from one big compan...

Re: snack a can price match
Most of their product is the same, but there are some exceptions. I don't know who Sweetfix/Hurleys are using for their suppliers, but the Snack A Can Mini-Eggs are far better tasting (less crumbly chocolate) to tubz vending ones IMHO. Re: Few pictures
I've personally seen both Vending Revolution and tubz vending production equipment and they are very similar in scale, with big tall hoppers on top. tubz vending don't have the gas-flush equipment I don't think, but thats only relevent for a few nut products anyway. I'm sure Hurleys will post on her...

Re: snack a can price match
They paid their independent home-based site finders £3.50 per site and charged £20 (as confirmed by an ex-VR site finder). They keep talking about a £1/2m investment. In what? Not the machinery, as tubz vending, Swetfix and Hurleys have also got packing machinery and there's no way any of them spen...
