cannot for the life of me get the screw on the back undone, any ideas anyone

Shock it with a big hammer as it sometimes helps binding threads. Also if helps place elastic band in the screw as it helps the grip.

cheers gav, had a result and a big thanks to jay for his idea also lynda at ska vend had same idea and it worked, i cut into housing that screw goes into via an hacksaw took metal away and then took screw out via a pair of grips, machine fully operational now.
