Hotel/Spa/Gym vending

Post by Vend And Glow »

Hi i am busy on here today!

Just wondering if anybody here does vending in hotels and Spas etc?

I operate a few Coin operated GHD's and i have one in Crewe Hall in Cheshire.
Actually owned by QHotels who are quite a big organisation.

The GHD does ok but they have asked on a couple of occasions if i could do some vending for paracetamol and other things that guests need.

Apart from that is there any other vending that does well in Hotel/Spa/Gyms?

Thanks

Lee

mate get the ghd's into town centre pubs, forget about spas as most i am sure will have their own already,if they havnt they arent much of a spa in my mind, you need foot fall for these so city centre pubs are the way forward without a shodow imo..

i wouldnt bother too much with the washroom stuff either as they really dont sell that well as i have found out to my cost in the past..

Hi Dave, i have had them in pubs and clubs before but they get broken when some skank decides to try and nick the Ghd!

They do ok in Crewe Hall (£15 a week) and you dont get any damage.

Paul, that's interesting maybe you should get your poor performers into more of these locations?

Be careful with large hotel chains. The area Manger syndrome often occurrs and you get shoved. I lost a good Best Western this way recently.

Thanks,

Fortunatley they are aware of the machine and i have had a number of other Hotels in the chain contact me for a machine but i have had to turn them down as the distance is too far.

Been lucky i suppose.

too right.
I am up for it if in my area.
Could be first steps to the making of vend and glow as a mainstream concept?

Hi Nigel it's for Ghd's not Vend And Glow! I also own http://www.nantwichvending.co.uk" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

If you want to run the Ghd's i would be happy to pass on your details as a supplier?
The chain is Qhotels....pretty big!

I have 3 or 4 spare Ghd machines at the mo. Will sell at £229+Vat (used condition but still work perfect)

I know one in Lincoln wanted a machine but not sure about the rest it's up to the individual managers but head office are fine with it.

Cheers
