They have recieved a letter from Haribos solicitor stating they must Imediately cease re pakaging ALL Haribo Products into Mini Cans!
Whilst they do not seem particually bothered as there are already lots of cheaper compaprable alternative sweets avaliable it is unfortunate that we have lost this BIG name on our towers.
Hurleys will have to dump all the labels etc associated with that brand!
I would think tubz vending will have a similar letter and it is, indeed, a sad day for mini can venders as suppliers will invaribly lose money because of this.
This will ,of course,effect operators as well as we must cease selling Haribo too!
Does anyone on here know what triggered this letter, maybe Haribo became aware that some operators were selfpacking?
Maybe even a very short-sighted supplier tried to get one over a competitor?
Im sure we will find out in due course.
