Putting prices is up is difficult on coin based vending mechs.

Toy margin is ok. But the sweets where do you go from £1??

Ive got two Pringle towers going out at £2 in the next week. They are new sites. The older sites will have to stay at £1 for a while. I cant see the social clubs accepting a £2 vend.
Sweets - Ive dropped the expensive lines and my sales are better than ever. Hurleys have some decent lines at good prices that sell well.
I bought a round of 100 Beavers at the end of last year. The guy was retiring I guess because he knew he couldn't make money at 20p. Ive been converting them all to 50p which gives me an 82% margin before commission.

I’ve started this process in July in my best site with 4 Pringles machines. Yes sales have dropped a bit but profit up. Waiting to get more mechs from tubz vending to do the rest. It’s a no brainier when you do the math

Pringles are costing me 67p plus 20% commission means I make 13p. At £2 this becomes 93p profit.

50 sold at £1 I make £6.50
Only need 7 sold at £2 to make £6.50

So even if sales collapsed, which they won’t, your selling way less to make the same. In time sales will come back along with the extra profits and so to the fun of vending!!

I’m aiming to do the same with sweets in spring next year. Just need to get the suppliers on board to fill the pots and bring back skittles, smarties etc to add value. My only concern is the toys. Either source better toys to fit the pots or stick with same.

All of my pringles are on £2.00 vend. I took over an operator last week and his were on £1.00 vend will be changing these toi £2.00 in the next month.
I already have toys on £2.00 and sales are ok
