Yes, much higer cost of equipment than a towern but margin is greater too. Still, it would take a long time to recoup initial cost so only really suitable for busy sites.

Ibthought youbonly need a licence if you can obtain prize valued higher than the stake. Set at 50p your not gonna grab more than 50ps worth of stock ?

Hi All
I have seen Cranes in Great yarmouth that have a clever way of negating the need for a license.
Its one cabinet with two actual claws and you get too play both for 20p.
The first larger one you try for a plush toy.
If that fails (which it 99% does) you get a go on the smaller grab which has its own little separted prize area tucked in the corner.
The smaller prize area just has cheap lollies and you keep playing till you win one lolly.
Very Clever, i thhoght, as it negates the need for a license as its prize everytime.
And as these lollies sell for 20p anyway , i cannot see how anyone could argue that there is a gambling element to this machine!!

I would have thought though would need a licence Nigel as you can win a prize that is more valuable than your stake? Not 100% sure though
