Necta snakky slave

Hello,

Anyone have any experience of connecting up a Necta Snakky SL Slave unit ? I want to know if it is compatible with a Snakky RY, as usual trying to get an answer from N&W is taking an age.

Master slaves on Snakkys is not the most straight forward is it, me & steve scratched our heads for some time trying to connect up a table top coffee to a slave.
Does it have spare jumpers on the control board for a slave unit to be attached on the master unit?

Not sure, I did email N&W to ask where it would connect to the master Snakky, as I wanted to check it would connect before I purchased a slave, No response to far! and I cant find anything in the main snakky manual that lists where it will plug in.

Best to ring their technical helpline TBH, they should be able to tell you straight away,if it can then its just 2 wires to connect to I?o board and then telling the machine which model it has connected as a slave.

N&W rang back today. After checking the software versions on my snakkys they've said they are compatible, but that's about it... This is gonna be interesting when they arrive as I'm really not sure where on the circuit board they plug in.

I have found the master/slave section of the programming menu though!

You have to know exact model and select master slave. I think it's on the io board , it does say in the manual , which is downloadable .if your close to Bitmingham can offer free on drive assistance .

I've looked on the Snakky manual but can't see anything, I've only managed to find the slave manual online in Italian.

When I go into the master/slave admin menu on the machine there's only three options, Snakky, Snakky L and Kikko or something.

I'm a bit far from you, being in Milton Keynes.

These slaves haven't been delivered yet, I just want to make sure I've got everything in order for when they do.

(What I'd do for this site to have full sized doors!? )
