Shoppertron problem

Hi,

I have a shoppertron 431. I came in and the machine was off.
I reset the breaker then within 20 seconds I could smell burning then it tripped.

I don't want to set the fire alarm off as it's a huge public building!

Any ideas what this could be? I've ordered a starter kit from Crane but not fitted yet, the guy said it could be that.

Has anyone had this problem or have any idea what it could be?

Most likely the compressor start up, could also be a fan seized on compressor.

Managed to get this sorted.

It was the starter kit. Replaced this and the capacitor (with difficulty)

The vending world is a learning curve. Some feeling when you fix a machine and it lights up as new.

Lucky as new compressors on these are mega expensive as there so big.
