Klix Machine problem

Post by Nick@VendingGlasgow »

I've recently purchased a Klix 900 machine but there seems to be a leak from the chiller for the cold drinks.
For some reason the water is dribbling out the pipe and as a result filling the bucket underneath.
Anyone experienced this problem or know how to fix?
Thanks
Nick

Water solenoid is faulty, if you do a system flush if may clear if it is somd debris on the diaphragm else replace with new.

I've tried flushing through but no success. How easy is this to replace?

Cheers.

Vendparts in skip ton can supply, or ring klix technical for help. Wouldn't be too difficult as solenoid failure is quite common. Sometimes you can strip them and clean them out.

When you flush does it flow water through the dribbling pipe?

Yes it's the same pipe. It's as though I'm pressing flush as its coming out the correct pipe etc. it's just not switching off. Although when I press flush the water is a lot higher pressure. When I release the flush button it goes back down to just a dribble.

Definately solenoid then. It opens to allow then flush and then doesnt seat properly on closing. Shouldnt be too hard a job to do.

Brilliant, Ill try order the part and give it a go.
While on the topic of Klix, where is the best place to buy Klix Cups at a decent price? Ive tried using other companies at a fraction of the price but the quality isnt the same. The customer is looking for proper Klix stock and not a cheap alternative, however the profit margin is next to nothing as the rate Klix charge me is very expensive as i only have 2 machines worth of stock to buy for as we have just moved into the hot drinks market.

Thanks,

Nick

This is why we dont do klix as they only ever look at massive operators. What size are the klix cups do you know?
