Do you have another to test on? may be worth picking a spare mech up from ebay and sending it to coin solutions to calibrate and set up for new 5 & 10ps. Wouldnt cost much, if you are a customer they talk you through how to check mechs on the phone. They have got me out of problems many a time with electronic mechs. You could even ring up pretending to be me if you put on your best brummy accent. :shh:

its not accepting coins at all, but when i was on phone with glenn the ride part credited as he was unplugging and re inserting ribbon cable which leads me to believe its a faulty ribbon cable, however it could be the mech, its def one of them thats at fault

what mech is it? cashflows suffer that fault ( strim alarm ) & lock out, will take a coin every time you power down & up, then take nothing!

you wont see the srtim alarm as you need LEDs connceting to see it, im sure it will be that as opposed to the ribbon, unless the ribbon has been wet or cut

easy way to check for strim alarm is to run a screwdriver or metal object where coins come out bottom of mech, if strims fitted it will credit up

ade i have never have come across that before, a strim alarm from a cashflow does not output a game signal, it put the mech into strim alarm ( so it wont take money any more )
