Stands - general advice please!

Post by newmark »

Hi guys,

I have been thinking about stands, and wondered if my thoughts below are generally correct.....

1. I always use the large heavy metal "tubz vending" stands for "exposed" locations, or locations with a lot of children.
2 I use the smaller metal "screw type" stands in more adult environments, and where machines are shielded, such as in a corner.
3. I use plastic stands only for Pringles machines.

I know there are no right or wrong answers, but does the above sound sensible?

Thanks in advance,

Mark

I only use the large heavy ones from tubz vending.

1. The load of cross feet type supplied from Hurley's = "not fit for purpose, and IMO dangerous"

2. The load of screw type type supplied from Hurley's = "not fit for purpose, and IMO dangerous"

3. tubz vending heavy metal = they rock :Jig:

I personally don't like the appearance of the bulkier stands as they make the tower look odd and unbalanced, it's just my view and preference and makes no difference to sales.

The screw type ones are fine, good heavy base and have been used for years and if you have both types just be selective as others have mentioned.

The centre of gravity on the tubz vending stands is very low, had a couple of screw in type topple over when full due to centre of gravity being high. You pays yer money, yer takes your chance.

The added advantage is the heavy base, even Arnie could swing on these and feel safe
