Foul play?

Post by chris gibbs »

Hi to all on the forum,I have a problem with one of my machines which sits in a busy site, four times over the last few months I have had my machine emptied because it reverse vends and when I get to it the little pin at the bottom of the coin mech is missing "see photo" I have changed mechs and the same thing just happened! It looks like I'm being ripped off but I can't see how they are doing it? Any ideas people?
Regards.

I have had exactly the same problem in a hotel that has been great for years but for the last few months has been full of builders. Swapped the machine today from a snack a can one to a clenport. And they have moved machine to reception so hopefully that will solve it!

Had this happen many times over the years.
As you can see from your photo the metal where pin sits has started to get worn and hole getting gradually bigger.
Pin then moves about when mech turned resulting in it popping out.
Stick a small washer(or 5p) over pin then tighten back up.should help keep it in place better.
Normally works for me but even then some still pop out.
You then need to replace mech with newer one as this is too far gone.
