Stats

Post by Big Chris »

Would anybody be able to offer a direct corilation or give some statistics in regards to 20p & 50p bulks for toys?? How do you manage to find better products to offset the increase in price? And by how much have sales dipped or increased?

Thanks

not related to toys, but on switching from 20p to 50p for sweets a social club near me kicked out an operator with bulks because they thought he was ripping people off... strange that they didnt object to a £1 vend though

Think I'm the only one Chris! 50% less sales but more profit. just look for the better products. ball mania from toyvend mixed with 32mm balls, wiggly worms with the small ones removed, jelly fish, and any others you can find, The problem seems to be getting the suppliers to get us better 27mm products. If the demand is there they will supply so it might be good to badger them!
Regards,
Simon.

hello,

As Simon says, not enough operators moving to this vend to justify a supplier carrying stock/keeping stock on shelves.

The products are plenty, and readily available, 50p even £1 vend for 32mm there are many items in Europe! Problem is we can't exactly bring in 500 items! Doesn't make sense. Email me, info@atnvending.co.uk, I can email you a list of available products and bring them in for you on my next order, no probs.

Regards

50p/20p toys sell well. It's the location that matters. Busy high streets are best, where they have markets & Schools nearby. I frequently pick up £80/100 in 20p sales alone, stink bombs, boom bags always sell best followed by the rest. For 50p 45mm balls are best, stickies do ok to make a change. Pubs are very seasonal with toys, must be family restaurant type, 20p trolls still sell well, bracelets, jewellery, 32mm balls etc.

actually im finding the margins are not as good on the 45mm ball for 50p, so im doing the 32mm for 50p, no complaints yet!!
