Stuck Key

Managed to get my key stuck in the lock of one of my towers today, it went in turned a fraction and then jammed, now it won't move and it will not come out. Tower has been taken apart but no joy. This is the 2nd time I've done this, I ended up breaking the lock 1st time......can anyone give me advice.

your lock is busted i am guessing, perhaps you got them 2nd hand? there are some little widgets in the lock which seem to pop out. try using a filed down key if you have a number of these towers, that way if it does jam up you can at least get the key out and come back to the site with a replacement tower.

Use a hacksaw to cut the lock off. Then replace lock. This can be done on site.

Thanks for the info, I have ordered a couple of new locks as no doubt this will happen again.
