coin mech issue

Post by Rossi fan »

Hi
Does anyone use a lever, or tool to release the catch on the coin mechs without having to use a finger. I am currently employing a driver, due to illness and cant send him out on his own because his hand is too big to get at the leaver. He could do everything else, so need a solution.
Thanks,

Paul

Paul if you lay the machine flat on the ground he should find it a lot easier to get to the lever, tell him to try it

Good question that Paul.

I have got a few inherited machines where I just cant get to the catch with my finger.
I would love to know myself if there is a method/tool to use to release coin mech aswell.

Thanks

This guys hands are large. He tried again today and could touch the bottom of the lever, but his finger will not slide up enough to get on top to pul it down.

I will try see if I can come up with something and if I do, will post a pic.

Thanks for your replies,

Paul

Yes I remember when I first started vending and it took me ages to find (and move) that little clip. Silly design really!

I ended up stripping one down and splitting the silver bottom as couldnt get to the lever last week, 5 min job to clear a jam took 1 hour!
