Pricing

Post by Big Chris »

Maybe someone could answer this question, or maybe even tubz vending??

Why is it that tubz vending are offering a price match offer against Hurleys?? Why can't they come up with thier own competitive pricing scheme??

Maybe this goes back to before i was a member of the forum and building my own round up.

I am pleased they do this,i buy stock from tubz vending and it has made purchasing my stock cheaper, but surely a big company should be doing their own thing, and not just saying we will price match the competitor??

Also as tubz vending claim that they are the biggest company within the vending trade, surley they should be able to offer cheaper prices as they are buying it in at such a cheap rate???

Cheers

Lots of firms price match , but they use it to draw new customers from their competition. tubz vending use it to figure out what they should be charging and to hang on to existing customers. You are supposed to hold on to existing customers with your first grade customer service , even if you are a tad dearer. However tubz vending have no customer service dept. so use the price match instead. horses for courses I suppose.

I'm pretty certain tubz vending happily charge those not on the forum or in the know excess prices.
That's why they'll price match because you have to ask.

It's been mentioned on here before about someone being overcharged, and it happened to me also, so obviously they have 2 price lists.
1 for those that know to ask and 1 for those that don't.

Don't forgot that tubz vending were the first ot offer an alternative to Salysol/Sandral's tinned products. They were also the first to offer a wide range of sweet products, mini eggs etc. So in that respect they have lead the market. They also pack their products better than anyone else. Within the boxes there is a leaf of cardboard between each layer of product. When they palatize their product they also put a leaf of cardboard between each layer of boxes. Together with double shrink wraping this makes their palletts more stable than anyone elses also Paul my account manager give great customer service. Many of my discussions including pricing are of a client confidential nature and I won't repeat here, but they are competative. I'm not really in the business of singing praises to tubz vending, but they do lead the market in some respects but most of all they have learn't from their experiences of the past and offer a competitatively priced product that meets my/our needs. lets hope thst it can continue.

I can vouch for what Pete says too, the stock is always well packaged and Paul at tubz vending is my account manager too, he has always tried his best for me if I've asked him for something. To be fair to tubz vending I have always been looked after and had no problems with them as of yet.
