Police can issue a notice under section 66 Police and Criminal Evidence Act which means that the guy that has bought them is not allowed to dispose until a full investigation. They can soon get details of the guy that sold them at the auction house

Update....site owner realised we were tracking him down as he sold them at auction. He is paying the guy who bought them at auction and I will collect in 2 weeks. Persistance pays....

I agree, he should pay for repairs and lost money. If he has admitted it then send him a bill giving him 14 days to pay.

I would also push for loss of sales too, worth a go. Did you involve the Police? Cause if not it could all be a bluff? Why do you have to wait 2 weeks?
