pringles jamming

Post by Ade »

got 2 pringles machines jamming, can see the prob but struggling for an answer to correct it, they are metal barrel pringles and the barrel is catching on bottom of next tub. if i hold segments slightly to left it vends perfect.
Anyone know how i can set segments to be slightly more to left? thinking they badly made machines.

Ade,

The problem you have is the rings are not alligned properly. Unlike the snack towers the is only one position that has the correct alignment when siting the centre lug on the ring onto the black bottom bit.

Pete,

ive been through every possible lining up scenario mate lol, ive moved black ring round, ive turned segments, they will only line up over chute on one setting, if i move segments round and leave black ring in one position, the drop line doesnt line up with barrel. i even drilled and re riveted the black plastic piece that the black ring sits on and moved it slightly to left, but that didnt work.

I used a bit of brute force and ignorance and took a hammer to the leading edge of the barrel, it worked for me, but dont hit it to hard as they are brittle!
