Database / Software packages

Post by DT Vending »

Hi Guys, Is there a database / software package that is useful tool for operators ? I have a few databases that i have had set up for my other company and have worked really well for me. Im just interested in how other operators keep track on sales / expenses / comission rates for each site.

Hi Craig, Thanks for this does anyone use this system ? dont think it will work with toys / washroom / towers etc only seems to work with towers and bulk. Im looking at putting grabbbers and a ride into a site soon and this is at the early stages. I want to look at a system that will look after everything.

If you have a diversified vending round, service cycles become difficult to co-ordinate & plan because different machines have different service cycles. Unless you have a fleet of identical machines then database packages will give limited advantages. I use a series of spreadsheets for everything upto a P & L, after which I hand over to my assountant.

There are some route management software program's. for the large vending machines but they re expensive. Would be a great idea if someone could knock up some software to do all types of machines not overly complicated .
