Its first come first served on the 100 boxes, but with the Snack a can franchisees and customers weve taken on, I dont think they will last very long...........

Best regards, Paul.

Really? Be interested to see if Hancocks raise their prices :!: Or is this profiteering before production ceases :?:

Steve, the quote I put in the post was from hancocks parent company. I took the only pallet they had left at the old price. I didn't have to offer that at the old price but I did. I have no need to profiteer pin that manner. My output has just doubled in size over the last 3 days. Paul.

Fair enough Paul, at the new price they have priced themselves out of the market for a one pound vend. I know your output has increased Paul, Rob told me. Hope your service stays as good as always. Have you sent me the stickers?

Thanks
Steve

Steve,

I agree, if they went up, that would be the case, but we used to pay £42 + vat for Minstrels, before the competition affected prices.

Yep but there were much less branded products Paul so we could afford the £42 rate as the rest of the machine would be fill with around the £30 mark lines but with more and more branded products this £3 increase will be a problem

Hi Ross,

I hope you are well mate.

I still only do two branded products, Minstrels and Skittles. Obviously, will need to look for a replacement for Minstrels. Has anyone tried the Glisten pebbles. If so, I would love to know what they sold like.

Thanks,

i'm a big fan of pebbles... if you've got other branded products in the tower then swapping minstrels/pebbles over hardly makes a difference to overall sales. I've ran towers side by side for comparison as well, and minstrels do sell better, i guess because of the visual differences. just a pain to take the galaxy branding off. Rolos are also a good branded chocolate product in my area but sometimes have to watch out for the best before dates.

I got told by Hancocks that they received an email from Mars yesterday saying they have found and fixed the problem with the Minstrels and will now NOT be stopping production :D
I bought a couple of boxes of stock they had delivered that day and they looked spot on.

Wow. I hope you are right Daz. Perhaps Hurleys will post confirmation, as they should get the same message.

Hi Guys. We are awaiting confirmation. I have spoken to our account manager and he read out the letter from Mars. it was more along the lines of "we hope to" and "probably" and "foreseeable future". As soon as we have anything concrete, we will let everyone know as we hope they will also put the bulk vending subsidy back in place so we can take the price back down.

Cheers, Paul.
