Painted tubz vending Vending Tower

Post by mbp »

Hi,

Could anyone advise if it's possible to paint/spray the silver base and top lids a different colour on the tubz vending Vending Towers as I have some one asking for white one for a wedding.

Thanks

You could no doubt do it with spray paint but you wouldn't get the even finish they have when manufactured. Also you would have to tape all round the segments, chute, coin mech etc to prevent getting paint on them. If they're buying the machine off you and are prepared to pay extra for your time to do it then fair enough but if it's just to put your machine in for the sales that day I wouldn't bother as with current restrictions the sales are unlikely to justify your time and effort and afterwards you're stuck with a white machine.

It's a non starter, all that work and cost to make around £40 and ruin a machine.
Much easier ways of making money

Worth a punt, charge them £100 hired out full of sweets? only 1 machine isnt it. Scratch the chrome surface with a wet and dry paper so it can key in then just look for a white spray primer then white gloss spray paint and then laquer. Easier would be to prep it ie remove segments and coin mech, Sand the existing surface and then prime with any spray primer. Then get a spray shop to coat it and laquer wouldnt cost more than 30 quid for a shop to do if you've primes it. Would it be on free vend or paid>
