Its started to effect business. Visited a care home today. Normally worth £50 every 5 weeks. Door lockd no entry, no visitors to relatives. Apparently their interpretation of govt guidlines.

Next site play barn. There were maybe 5-10 kids in there, 4 cars outside. Norrmlally 50-60 kids and you cant park. Monthly take there was down at least £250.

And its only going to get worse.

Might have to go back to being a jigalo for the short term.

LOL Andy, I really wondered what you did before vending especially as you said vending was a better income ROTFL

Although seriously yes you are right, foot fall has decreased and I have a number of care homes and am expecting similar problems when I go round to refill them.

You also have to think about how many bugs are on the towers and handles in high turnover sites, I always have sanitiser with me when out on my round, but my bottle is getting low now, and the chance of getting a refill is Zero.

Everything is going to take a hit, thats for certain.

With most of my machines in pubs , club and social sites this looks like I will be collecting a fraction of my usual turnover. More worryingly there doesn’t seem to be any real estimation of the length of this proposed social distancing. If it goes on for many months I wonder how many sites will be still be in business when it does finally come to an end!

Talk about bad timing just as the weather picks up and the takings go up! Crying into a large vodka here. Thankfully my partner has a stable job that should be unaffected by this but it’s going to be a tough few months

Yes going to hit me hard, April is my highest turnover month for the year so couldn’t have come at a worse time.

I had a language school call me yesterday saying they have gone out of business, I have 3 Pringle towers and 2 sweet towers inside. Unprecedented times we are facing

Regards

Ross
