Everyone should maximise their opportunities in sites by offering toys, sweets, Pringles or whatever and I absolutely do this but it's often a progression: when I site-find I offer one or sometimes two types of machine at first then if they do ok and I get to know them better I will offer more if I think they are appropriate. If you try and get three machines into a site from the off it's often overkill and can jeopardise getting the site.
So the problem arises if you are building up a relationship with a site and planning to ask them if they want more machines in a timely fashion then some **** bangs a machine in before you have the chance.

The golden rule should always be if there are existing towers in a site then you go somewhere else, this may involve going farther afield or trying different types of sites and it may involve more work but that's just how this business works, the sites are there: they just need to be found. If everyone starts tit-for-tat site stealing this takes time, profits go down and it's the law of the jungle which is bad for everyone

Sometimes out of sheer desperation or the persuit of money at any cost people do not obey 'The golden Rule' and stick their machines anyway. Too many people chasing too little business and unless you go upmarket a little (beyond towers) this will happen more & more.

Simples really, if they double park. Find out who they are!

No name on machine - they always do that, slip site an extra £20 for name and as a bribe to get rid of offending machine. Some will not bother therefore, empty machine of stock [you can use re-stock], get site to let you know when they are there (£20 for just calling you), turn up and then follow them around to all sites - make a note of sites and later double up in all of their sites. They will soon go out of business.
Or:
1. Ask site to get them to show you liability cover
2. Ask site to see if they use an accountant
3. Do they report earnings to HMRC

I do all of above [since day one] so get a little cheesed when some idiot parks next to mine and gives the impression it is my machine since I have plenty of contact names/numbers etc.

Many people on here will pass many comments about the posts - but when it happens to them/ hells bells brother!

Thought I'd jump on here and give a shout out to Barbara!

Barbara has done 3 hours tele marketing for me over the last month or so. Phoning lists that I compiled with sites I wanted. First hour got 4, 3 went in, 2nd hour got 3, all 3 went in, 3rd hour was today and 4 again.

These are all good sites. One has added a toy machine already and been refilled 3 times. Its only been in a month.

Well done Barbara!!!

Looks like this topic is being bumped!

Just in case we forget what the original topic was...... But heyho with 30k hits it must be of some value!
