Apparently Toblerone prices have risen massively and we are either going to see a massive hike price or a 25% reduction in size. Neither sounds good but we need chocolate.
Rolos for me are a pain because of their short dates and intolerance to sun. Maestros dont seem to do to well. Eggs are great. But is there anything else on the horizon or that people would recommend?
Thanks
Andy

Re: Toblerone
LOL!
They surely cannot get any smaller!
25% Price rise! Got to be joking!
I used to order Toblerones 8 boxes at a time with my 99/60 box orders. When they reduced to 3 per tub, I simply refused to get as much. Now I only order 1 box per order for my die hard customers!
Me thinks I will probably abandon Toblerones completely, not worth the hassle! Suppliers are extremely slow in offering chocolate substitutes and even slower on the sugar free front!
Andy is spot in with Rolos, I must be throwing boxes away each year to problems with heat! I usually purchase 8 boxes per order, they may well go the same way as Toblerones, off my order list!
I sell loads of smarties, so will be looking in earnest for choc alternatives to Toblerones and Rolo soon!

Re: Toblerone
I am a big operator, along with Style, PGBrew, there is another big operator in Scotland that I know of, a couple in London etc. Perhaps if we have a combined machine base of 5000+, perhaps we can do a deal for the products we seek?

Re: Toblerone
I think Pablo buys from tubz vending Ade maybe they have already gone to 3.
I couldnt get any in my order from Hurleys this week. Out of stock but by the sounds of it they are considering their options ie increase price £5 a box or reduce to 3. I dont think it will work for me in either of those.

Re: Toblerone
Mine have been three to a tub for at least 6 months.
Seems that Toblerones are not going to be viable, the three in a tub does sell to the die hards but like I said I order 1 box whereas I used to order 8 at a time.

Re: Toblerone
I just order one box, for one site only (landlady likes Toblerone).
