I once went fishing at Newark on Trent and caught a Gypsies horse in the mouth, when casting. I was only 11 and he made me get the hook out of its mouth. Never fished again.

I was Barnet & Distict Angling Club's junior champion in 1970. Havn't fished that much since. I occasionally fish the Grand Union Canal from my back garden. I live on a small island created by the river Gade & Grand Union canal.
